Part-Time Seasonal Parks/Cemetery

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as part-time seasonal help for the parks and cemetery from April through August. The role involves assisting with general maintenance, landscaping, trash removal, and upkeep of park and cemetery grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Tasks may include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, maintaining pathways, and assisting visitors.

Responsibilities:

Perform general landscaping and maintenance tasks.

Mow lawns, trim shrubs, and prune trees.

Clean and maintain public areas, including restrooms, benches, and trash receptacles.

Help with cemetery upkeep, including clearing debris and maintaining grave sites.

Weather Conditions:
This position requires outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including temperatures ranging from cool spring mornings to hot summer afternoons. Candidates must be comfortable working in both sunny and rainy conditions and be prepared for occasional heat, humidity, and occasional storms typical of the season. Proper sun protection and hydration will be emphasized.

Qualifications:

Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.

Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Previous experience in landscaping or outdoor maintenance is a plus but not required.
